UX DESIGN | WIREFRAMING | PROTOTYPING

LEAD UX DESIGNER

Madden 20 was a major shift in how we thought of player experience. With a real focus on "Player First" my role shifted from UI Artist to UX Design. We put emphasis on making Madden more approachable, fun, and social, which resulted in one of the most successful Maddens released.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Owned the UX for Superstar KO

  • Owned the UX for On Field Trainer

  • Contributed to the UX for X-Factors/Abilities

  • Contributed to UX guidelines for Madden 20

  • Worked with UXR to improve designs based off of playtest feedback and reports

  • Added quality of life improvements to lineup tools for Franchise and Ultimate Team

UX DESIGN | VISUAL DESIGN

LEAD UI ARTIST

Madden 19 we did a major overhaul in the main menu. Decreasing the size of the UI tiles and allowing for more visuals in the front end. I lead the team of UI artists and supported the key features such as Franchise and Ultimate Team with visual mock ups.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Owned the visual style guide for the UI

  • Designed a new interface for the main menu

  • Created a visual language for archetypes/dev traits in Franchise mode

  • Created mocks for the NFL draft feature

LEAD UI ARTIST

In Madden 18 I worked on the UI for new features such as Play Now Live, MUT Squads, target passing, play styles and Longshot.

  • Owned the visual style for the UI

  • Created a new user onboarding experience to introduce new play styles

  • Created mocks for Play Now Live

  • Created UI for Longshot
